International Food Festival – Hue 2016

Situated in the activities of Hue Festival 2016, the Association of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province in coordination with the General Department of Tourism, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province held “International Food Festival – Hue 2016” from 28/4 – 02/5/2016.

This activity is to honor and promote the unique and quintessential characteristic culinary culture of Hue, Vietnam and regions participating countries to tourists both domestic and international; expand opportunities for culinary cultural exchange between countries, contribute to promoting friendly and cooperative ties between Vietnam and other countries in the region and the world.

Festival will take place at Park Phu Xuan (Nghinh Luong Dinh – Phu Van Lau), with size 100-120 booths, of which 12-15 international pavilions from ASEAN countries and some Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan … and many of the restaurant booth, the famous culinary regions in the country.

International Food Festival – Hue 2016 will have many programs rich, attractive: Performing processing and cuisine at the booth; each country, regions will select presentations, processing of typical dishes, help the public have the opportunity to study and learn the culture of the extraordinary cuisine. Besides, there are many activities Festival companion: Space “Beer Fest”; artistic performances mixing (Bartender); performances by art troupes. In addition, there are exhibitions, display and introduce green food ingredients, cleaning and specialty food products in the province of Thua Thien Hue.

International Food Festival – Hue 2016 is a unique culinary activities, domestic tourists and international looking forward. This is also an opportunity to promote the brand Hue, service quality and introducing unique culinary products to travelers. Tourism businesses, hotels, restaurants domestically and internationally have the opportunity to meet, exchange experiences, find opportunities to work together to develop.
